Mes 3 ans de français ne vont pas en vain! Mais je n'ai pas parle pendant 5 ans! Pour éviter la honte et les erreurs, je vais écrire en anglais.

So... I took a break from odd themes and dark collages and gave way to .. sweet romance! not only sweet, but also French!
Here's another piece for Audrey Grace Boutique which will open this November in Jackson, Mississippi, the USA (owned by the wonderful Jaclyn Bethany). It's inspired by Jacques Demy's Les Parapluies de Cherbourg starring the beautiful Catherine Deneuve.
I watched this movie only once a very long time ago - I was about 8 at the time (come to think of it, I watched all the best films at this age haha) I was very keen on musicals, and couldn't miss this one. It was gorgeous. Still can't forget that final scene at the petrol station. Catherine Deneuve looks angelic in every scene and I don't even know what to say about the music by Michel Legrand... I'll just post a video for you. C'est absolument magnifique!

ReplyDeleteAnd the colours in the final seconds of the video (in the alley way and the stairs etc) are incredible ... those fading, peeling blues & greens, the bike, the stone paving/cobbles ... mmmm
